We use a small set of essential cookies to make the site work, and — only if you allow us — a single analytics cookie to measure how our sign-up flow performs. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. You can change your consent at any time from the banner at the bottom of the page.

These are needed for the site to work. They cannot be disabled without breaking authentication, locale selection, or your saved consent choice.

We use Posthog (EU region) to measure things like which step of the sign-up flow people drop off at. We don’t use this data to advertise to you and we don’t share it with third parties.

You can opt out at any time using the cookie banner — your choice is stored locally and applied immediately.

The following services are loaded only on pages that use them and either set no cookies on brokercompare or do so only inside their own embedded contexts (e.g. a Stripe-hosted page during broker billing).

• Sentry — crash + error reporting. Reads stacktraces; does not set tracking cookies on this site.
• Mapbox — embedded marina maps on broker pages. Loaded only if a map is visible.
• Stripe — broker invoicing. Only set inside the broker dashboard area, not on the seller-facing site.

• Re-open the cookie banner from the link in the footer of any page.
• Or clear bc_cookie_consent from your browser’s local storage and refresh the page; the banner will reappear.
• Or use your browser settings to block cookies entirely. The site will still work but you’ll lose the sign-in session between visits.

We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — if your browser sends it, we treat that as a refusal of analytics cookies even if you haven’t interacted with the banner.
